Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #20Batman for the Commodore 64, Amiga, Atari ST and other fine systems, made by Ocean Software, is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself. Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 5.0(All five situations will relate to the movie in someway but there is no story or anything else to really submerse you into the feel of things. You do repetitive things over and over and the adventure is over just as it starts. Its mostly there but its bare minimum at times too..)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 2.0(Its more of a disco soundtrack then something from the Batman film. You won’t hear the theme anywhere here that’s for sure. The music isn’t even the dark and dreary feel to it. But that’s not to say the music is bad. If you wanted to hear a more upbeat and adventurous type of 70′s theme for a Batman movie this will do that well..)Game Difficulty 5.0(For such a short game its actually a bit hard. Play control issues will be annoying as will the time limit. Its not impossible to beat, but luck plays a big part in things as well as repeated playing to learn where and how things are done. )Overall Fun 4.5(Its middle of the road. It has originality and you as Batman so that isn’t too bad. But its short, repetitive and frustrating. With no continues you better be ready to focus as you play. It has its fun moments and does at least try to be a fun Batman based game. But with so many other Batman choices out there, this won’t be a must play for many.)Final Score: 5.00Average
Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #25NOTE: Starting with this video the opening Movie background moments at the beginning of each review will be shorter and less spoiler filled. I’m sure most won’t mind that. This way it doesn’t give away the whole film and gives more time for review which is what most want. –This is a Fan Requested Review–Back to the Future for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. To save on space and time in the video, the score tallies and descriptions of how I got to the scores are listed here instead. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 4.0(It takes place in the right time period, has some nods and moments but for the most part it just skims the movie and has minor moments dealing with it. This is probably the only thing the game has going for it is that it sorta kinda relates to BTTF. But the streets have enemies and details that have nothing to do with the film and there is no story or cutscenes to fill us in on what is going on..)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movies 3.0(Johnny B. Goode is great. They actually got that right. Power of Love is another story. If thats supposed to be it sped up you cant tell. And why they did this instead of recreate it better is another question that has to be answered. Most will hate this song as it plays non stop through the game..)Game Difficulty 2.0(Its not too hard or too easy. Its just annoying. The game can be beat in 30 minutes but you will not have it easy at points and other points its kinda too easy. Its just really bad how they have the game set up. )Overall Fun 1.5(This is what really hurts this game. It just isnt fun at any point. If its not the ear bleeding music its the repetitive streets that you have to keep on doing. And the sub par mini games that fill up the rest of it. Its too short, not fun and a poor representation of a great film. Typical LJN mess. .)Final Score: 3.25Below Average
