Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #24–This is a Fan Requested Review–Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie for the Sega Genesis (GEN) is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. To save on space and time in the video, the score tallies and descriptions of how I got to the scores are listed here instead. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 6.0(The first, second and last stage and even the ending related well to the movie. What hurts this score greatly is the fact that three stages only relate to episodes of the TV show episodes.)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movies 2.5(Every song but arguably the main theme, related only to TV show themes. Too bad as even the movie based stages should have had some songs from the huge soundtrack heard in the film..)Game Difficulty 6.0(With only 6 stages it is short and to the point but each stage is mostly separated into parts which include zord battles and time limit based goals to have to reach. So its middle of the road as far as difficulty goes. )Overall Fun 5.5(Power Ranger fans and even fans of the movie should get a kick out of this game. Its the best of the bunch as far as games related to this film. But to the casual or regular gamer it may not offer enough to keep them into it for long. The game can be beat in an hour and has some different zords and characters to use and that may bring em back for more but there are better beat em up games out there to play over this one on the Genesis..)Final Score: 6.00Average

Movies to Video Games Review — True Lies (SNES & GEN)

Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #9—This is a Fan Requested Review—True Lies for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are based on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score are as follows:Story Accuracy to the Movie 7.5(Follows the moments of the movie well at some points but throws in a lot of stages and details that just weren’t in the movie and are inaccurate. Has cut scenes and graphics taken right from the movie which really made you feel you were reliving the movie)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 3.0(Not much to go on here. The music is very minor in the movie as well as in the game. There are stages that didn’t even have music in it. The movie itself didn’t have any music that stood out so this game has generic LJN/Acclaim type music instead.)Game Difficulty 6.0(Gets harder as you venture through and have to deal with rows of bad guys at once. Some of the enemies are too hard to beat and others are simple. There are moments in this game that can be very frustarting. A continue option would have made this rating much better .)Overall Fun 7.5(It has its moments. Shooting up bad guys and taking on whole armies by yourself is fun. Poor play control and hard elements hold this back from being a really great game. Its fun and you will want to try it out but be ready to be killed a lot and very long stages that you may get bored of fast .)Final Score: 6.50AVERAGE

Movies to Video Games Review — The Lion King (SNES/GEN/ …

Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #19—This is a Fan Requested Review—The Lion King for the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Amiga, MS-DOS (PC Version) made by Virgin Interactive, is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself. (SNES version was the one played for this review). This will also include the dumbed down versions of this game found on the Game Boy, Game Gear, NES and Sega Master System as they are very similar to everything found in the full blown version found here with just less graphics and stages and elements found. But it is pointless to do another review of the minor versions as they are so similar.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 5.5(Accurate in the fact that it goes in order of location from the movie. But not too accurate in the fact that very little story is told at any time. A lot of moments are left out too. It was accurate enough but could have been a lot better..)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 9.0(One thing that really shines in this game is the movie soundtrack. Every major song will show up somewhere and most placed in the correct locations. Some of the versions the songs will sound better then in other versions of the game but that is expected.)Game Difficulty 3.5(The game is actually pretty difficult which lowers this score greatly. Being its based on a kids cartoon it should be a bit easier then it is. This game won’t be easy to get through and you will need every extra guy and continue you can muster. Play control really makes things even harder. The game is far from impossible but is very frustrating at many points. )Overall Fun 5.0(This is a matter of opinion but I felt it missed the mark at many points. No story, very little characters from the film showed up and a lot of stages seemed like the same thing with different backgrounds. The game can be a bit repetitive too and the whole climax of the game won’t make the adventure worth all the trouble..)Final Score: 5.75Average

Movies to Video Games Review — Street Fighter: The Movie (PSX/ …

Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #29Street Fighter: The Movie for the Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. To save on space and time in the video, the score tallies and descriptions of how I got to the scores are listed here instead. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 4.5 out of 10(Weird Movie Mode tries to tie things into the film with you taking on the role of Guile. But besides a few picture cap text based moments and some music here and there from the film there really isnt too much accuracy. Its just a digitized version of Street fighter and a poorer one at that..)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movies 5.5 (Some of the AVIs found within the game will indeed have the same exact music. So that is good. But that is where it ends, the stages are all generic music and background themes that have nothing to do with anything. There is a music video though from the soundtrack found on the game so that too relates well at least. Game Difficulty 6.0 (Anyone that has played Street Fighter can jump right into this game no problem. Controls are the same as is the set up. Some of the Bison battles can be annoyingly difficult but for the most part the game wont offer too much of a challenge to the average player of Street Fighter)Overall Fun 3.5 (The game just isnt that much fun. The Story Mode will get old fast and you can only enjoy playing a weaker port of a good game so many times in Arcade Mode. Basing a game on a bad movie version of a game is not the best idea to ever be done. The game isnt horrible but it just isnt that much fun and will get old fast especially with better Street Fighter options out there.)Final Score: 4.25Below Average
