Movies to Video Games Review — Last Action Hero (SNES)

Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #30–This is a Fan Requested Review–Last Action Hero for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. To save on space and time in the video, the score tallies and descriptions of how I got to the scores are listed here instead. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 2.0 out of 10(Some cutscene moments do have some similar things but not really. The bosses I suppose match up but even that is out of place to the film. The main guy is Jack at least so that matches up even though he never uses his gun at any point like in the film.)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movies 0.5 out of 10(This is almost as bad as it gets. A heavy metal soundtrack and we get repetitive, annoying beats found throughout the whole game that all sound like weird variations of the same song that the music writer created. Just horrible. )Game Difficulty 1.0 out of 10(The game is way to hard at many points. Hit detection issues, starting over at beginning of stage any time you die. Limited lives. No continues, double and triple teamed at points. Just way too hard. Boss battles are actually easier than anything else.)Overall Fun 0.0 out of 10(I think I said enough on why this game isnt fun at any point and leave it at that.)Final Score: 0.75TERRIBLE

Movies to Video Games Review — True Lies (SNES & GEN)

Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #9—This is a Fan Requested Review—True Lies for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. In the means of saving space the score tallies used to get to the final score are listed here instead of in the review itself. They are based on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score are as follows:Story Accuracy to the Movie 7.5(Follows the moments of the movie well at some points but throws in a lot of stages and details that just weren’t in the movie and are inaccurate. Has cut scenes and graphics taken right from the movie which really made you feel you were reliving the movie)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 3.0(Not much to go on here. The music is very minor in the movie as well as in the game. There are stages that didn’t even have music in it. The movie itself didn’t have any music that stood out so this game has generic LJN/Acclaim type music instead.)Game Difficulty 6.0(Gets harder as you venture through and have to deal with rows of bad guys at once. Some of the enemies are too hard to beat and others are simple. There are moments in this game that can be very frustarting. A continue option would have made this rating much better .)Overall Fun 7.5(It has its moments. Shooting up bad guys and taking on whole armies by yourself is fun. Poor play control and hard elements hold this back from being a really great game. Its fun and you will want to try it out but be ready to be killed a lot and very long stages that you may get bored of fast .)Final Score: 6.50AVERAGE

Movies to Video Game Review — MM Power Rangers Movie (SNES)

Movies To Video Games ReviewsReview #23–This is a Fan Requested Review–Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) is fully reviewed and analyzed as compared to the actual movie itself.Feel free to comment. More movies to video games reviews coming soon.. suggestions and feedback welcome and encouraged. To save on space and time in the video, the score tallies and descriptions of how I got to the scores are listed here instead. They are on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:Story Accuracy to the Movie 4.0(Has all the characters and the final boss is related , but everything else really is more TV show based than movie based. Even the ending doesnt relate to the film.)Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movies 4.5(It has the main theme song and that is the most important song to be there. So it gets kudos for that, everything else though is standard generic fighting music scores..)Game Difficulty 4.0(Game is way too short and is pretty easy. Not a bad thing considering the target market this game is geared for but a little more than 6 levels would have been nice. You wont find much of a challenge here. )Overall Fun 5.0(It has its moments. Beating up monsters and transforming into a Power Ranger isnt a bad idea. But there is no substance to the game and it gets old fast. Its middle of the road and really should have related more to the film and had some Zord battles to be truly fun.)Final Score: 4.00Average

The Big Daddy D Reviews The Worst Video Game Movies Ever! – Part 3

The third and final part of the Worst Video Game Movies Ever is now up!My apologies for the delay, I picked up a bit of a sore throat the other week and so that delayed me in doing the voiceover. I probably still sound a bit croaky in places on this video, to be honest. So anyway, in the third and final part we get to see the two very worst Video Game Movies of all time. Uwe Boll stops by one more time for another slice of cinematic shite and we get to see the movie that started the whole Video Game Adaptation in the first place. Mamma mia!! There’s also one or two movies that didn’t quite make the Top Ten, but still deserve a mention anyway. Despite this, I have high hopes for future Video Game Movies. Let’s face it, Hollywood DID finally get the hang of the Comic Book Movie, so this video finishes with a quick look at forthcoming Video Game Movies, along with ideas for a few more. This video is also the Season 3 Finale as I’ll be taking some time off from reviewing movies after this. Thanks for watching!
