Trumpet Medley of Video Games/Movies/TV Shows

This is the final selection from my senior trumpet recital. I’ve already been playing for 50 minutes which accounts for the, ahem, interesting ending to Mario (no disrespect Mario but I was tired). The order of tunes that I arranged were Halo Piano Theme, Theme from Xena, Zelda’s Lullaby, Eternity from Final Fantasy X-2, Into the West from Lord of the Rings, Hawaii 5-0, and Mario. Xena and Hawaii 5-0 were chosen by my trumpet professors as their favorite pop culture tunes in case you were wondering. The rest are personal favorites of mine. I also have a cello part written but he wasn’t able to be at the recital. I think it would sound much better with a cello but we’ll see if I can get a chance to record it.Overall, it was a great experience arranging the music and I’m happy with how it turned out. There is good music in video games and movies and it should be performed more often. Anyway, thanks for checking this out. Keep making music!

The Big Daddy D Reviews The Worst Video Game Movies Ever! – Part 3

The third and final part of the Worst Video Game Movies Ever is now up!My apologies for the delay, I picked up a bit of a sore throat the other week and so that delayed me in doing the voiceover. I probably still sound a bit croaky in places on this video, to be honest. So anyway, in the third and final part we get to see the two very worst Video Game Movies of all time. Uwe Boll stops by one more time for another slice of cinematic shite and we get to see the movie that started the whole Video Game Adaptation in the first place. Mamma mia!! There’s also one or two movies that didn’t quite make the Top Ten, but still deserve a mention anyway. Despite this, I have high hopes for future Video Game Movies. Let’s face it, Hollywood DID finally get the hang of the Comic Book Movie, so this video finishes with a quick look at forthcoming Video Game Movies, along with ideas for a few more. This video is also the Season 3 Finale as I’ll be taking some time off from reviewing movies after this. Thanks for watching!

The Big Daddy D Reviews The Worst Video Game Movies Ever! – Part 2

Part 2 of my review of the Worst Video Game Movies Ever is now up! In this part, two more popular fighting games are transformed into cinematic shite and two reasons are made as to why Uwe Boll should be kept well away from a movie studio. Even, the new Street Fighter flick – The Legend of Chun Li – isn’t safe either! If you thought the ones in Part 1 were bad enough, these are even worse! And there’s still Part 3 left to go! Yep, this is going to be a three parter. This is also going to be the Season 3 Finale as I’ll be taking some time off from reviewing movies after this. I’ve decided not to have background music this time, like I did with Part 1. But if you prefer it, then please let me know. Gotta give a shout out to kuhen25 for featuring so many Van Damme spin kicks in one place!
